MRDS Instructor

$595.00

Unlike other MRDS instructor courses on the market this three day course is built entirely around the optic equipped pistol.  This is not a basic pistol course and students should be accomplished shooters before attending.  Students will be expected to do more than just run the line and act as line safety officers.  Everyone will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in the drills and be able to coach and provide feedback to a group of MRDS transition students on the last day of class.  This is an instructor level course.

Class Description

Unlike other MRDS instructor courses on the market this three day course is built entirely around the optic equipped pistol.  This is not a basic pistol course and students should be accomplished shooters before attending.  Students will be expected to do more than just run the line and act as line safety officers.  Everyone will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in the drills and be able to coach and provide feedback to a group of MRDS transition students on the last day of class.  This is an instructor level course.

I have been an integral part in developing the MRDS transition and implementation program for one of the largest police departments in the state of Texas.  My program is built around giving shooters the ability to manage the differences between iron sights and an optic, deal with potential problems that might arise, and exploiting the advantages of the MRDS equipped pistol.  You’ll leave with the curriculum and tools to start a transition program for your department.

On the last day of this course students will assist in teaching and coaching an MRDS Transition course.

This course contains a large amount of  instructor development from our 40 Hour Firearms Instructor course.

TD1 will be a long day that includes night fire.

Round Count: 750 Rounds
