This 3 day course is a collaboration between Ascension Training & Consulting and Cornerstone Performance.

Day 1 will be a day of performance rifle shooting on the range with Cornerstone.  We’re going to incorporate parts of our City Block Rifle class, focusing on building connection to the rifle and learning what inputs to the rifle are necessary for aggressive, accurate shooting.  Then we’ll finish the day incorporating what we learned about rifle connection into practical drills focused on movement related to emergency entries.

Days 2-3 will be taught by Ascension Training & Consulting and focus entirely on patrol based Hostage Rescue techniques. Ascension Training & Consulting is a premier tactical training and advisory group comprised entirely of former U.S. Army Special Mission Unity Operators.  They are not theorists, they are practitioners.  You’ll spend two days in a Sim House learning to apply the rifle skills from TD1 in practical scenarios from members of the Army’s premier hostage rescue unit.

Ascension teaches CQB through a principles-based approach rooted in real world experience.  This program build skills methodically, allowing students to understand how to think, not what to think.
